Dearest Wheeled Migration Riders and Supporters,

Thank you for believing in the Wheeled Migration and helping to make this dream go.
As you've probably noticed, this project has evolved quite rapidly from a few meetings and the conference call we started with six months ago.

I appreciate you keeping along with me though this (seemingly) simple task of gathering students together on a tour bike tour; thank you for allowing me to take the lead on this project and to invest myself in an idea that now inspires me endlessly.

Clearly (or to me anyway) this concept is becoming very dynamic and rich with potential, your support and energy has been incredible in encouraging me further. It my hope you will each be with me though the growth of Wheeled Migration for as far as it can go.

In the coming months, you will see me taking a stronger lead in developing the Wheeled Migration project and bringing forward the potential I see within it.

Speaking on behalf of WM as an organization, we will be establishing ourselves as a nonprofit venture with the mission to celebrate bicycle culture while honoring a restoration of the self, our communities, and the environment.

In addition to our mission, Wheeled Migration has established a set of goals and a vision statement, after this maiden tour, our next step is to become firmly rooted by finical support and healthy partnerships that will nurture our project into the future.

As ever, your input as a rider, a sponsor, and a partner is crucial to our growth and fulfilling this emerging vision.

Great Big News Everyone!

The '08 WM jersey is complete!!

All thanks point to JT from Moonlight Studios here in Chico. JT put down seven different prints on thirty-two jerseys (that's right, we have 32 collectible jerseys) in under 3.5 hours = awesome!

He also makes the best event fliers in town (did you see the last Brett Dennen flier? Yeah, he's the man), so if you're looking for some solid designs (because, let's face it, your band flier does look kinda lame) or a man to pull through in a clutch- call JT. He's working over at Dragon Graphics, and he comes though like a storm.

If I may say, Wheeled Migration jerseys are strikingly good looking- sexy even, which is a huge leap away from most cycling ware. We have liberated our design from the cliché, garish color schemes and kaleidoscopic patterns that plague cycling today. Rather, we've decided to honor a vibrant and luminescent white jersey.

But they are by no means bland, oh no no.

The Wheeled Migration jerseys feature a full back piece of our '08 logo and come replete with the integrity of sponsors that represent triple bottom line business practices.
Very cool.

So tour your Wheeled Migration jersey loud and proud, cuz we're going to be quite a spectacle out there. If you've ever driven past a peloton of even a few cyclists you know the wash of thoughts and emotions that comes over you. Now lets imagine driving past dozens of 'em, fully loaded, with the winds to their backs and a story in their eyes-
and then driving past a dozen more.

Yep, that's us friends.
